Meet The Team.
Mally The Mali
25.03.17 - 06.05.23
First, there's Mally, a Belgian Malinois whose journey from France to the UK marked the beginning of an extraordinary partnership. For five years, she stood as a loyal companion, working tirelessly by my side and always having my back.
Mally's passing in 2023 left a void that's felt every day, but her legacy lives on as the inspiration behind The Hund Academy. Her unwavering support highlighted the challenges of balancing work and dog ownership, sparking the inception of our academy aimed at helping others navigate this delicate balance.
Rosie The Rottie.
Meet Rosie, our delightful new recruit! At just two years old, this Rottweiler hails from the UK, just like her owner. Rosie's charming personality shines through as she displays a friendly disposition towards other dogs and adores spending time with people. Her absolute favorite pastimes include indulging in long naps and reveling in cuddle sessions. With her affectionate nature and irresistible charm, Rosie has quickly become a beloved member of our team.
If you're seeking a companion for your dog, Rosie is an ideal match. With her remarkable adaptability, she seamlessly adjusts to any situation.
Carter Egan.
My journey began in a busy shelter & boarding home, where I worked with dogs covered by the "Dangerous Dogs Act UK." Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino,Fila Brasileiro. This environment allowed me to refine my skills and deepen my understanding of canine behavior and welfare. After this I worked For five years as a CPO/Private Security Dog Handler, specializing in Search & Find, Tracking humans, and most importantly Protection Work.
Why did i start The Hund Academy?
I founded The Hund Academy in memory of my beloved dog, Mally. When I moved to Switzerland and took on a job that kept me away from home all day, it was incredibly difficult for both of us. We had spent five years side by side, and suddenly being apart was a massive adjustment. I felt a deep sadness knowing she was alone at home while I worked. After Mally passed away, I was haunted by the realization that she had spent the last six months of her life predominantly alone.
Now, through The Hund Academy, I am driven by the desire to ensure that no dog experiences loneliness during the day. I want to be there for your dog(s), to be their daybreaker, providing them with plenty of walks, cuddles, and essential training. My goal is to nurture their confidence on the leash so that they can enjoy outings with you to the fullest.
At The Hund Academy, we're dedicated to providing personalized dog services that cater to the unique needs of each dog and their owner. Our goal is to create a harmonious and understanding environment in every interaction, ensuring the well-being and happiness of both dogs and their humans.
